"Start in the middle and go in all directions" - Jean Mountaingrove

We started making this film in 2018. We have gathered around seventy-five hours of contemporary footage and fifteen hours of archival video and audio materials to continue to piece together. The film has approximately 6-12 months of post-production work until completion and with no outside funding thus far, we need all the help we can get!

We would like to apply to film festivals with an LGBTQ focus and then broaden our scope to larger independent venues. Additionally, we would potentially like to organize community screenings at LGBTQ community centers and archives. We hope to secure distribution on the festival circuit but will also be applying to other digital distribution opportunities as well. The audience for this project is the LGBTQ community broadly and more specifically those interested in engaging in intergenerational dialogue and intersectional lesbian feminism. We hope that viewers will come away with a sense of awe and possibility for how to live, age, and die well.
